Feature changed by: Stefan Dirsch (sndirsch) Feature #310904, revision 7 Title: Include Mesa 7.10 - openSUSE-11.4: Ready + openSUSE-11.4: Done Priority Requester: Desirable Requested by: Jose Ricardo De Leon Solis (derhundchen) Project Manager: (Novell) Engineering Manager: (Novell) Developer: (Novell) Partner organization: openSUSE.org Description: Since Milestone 4 isn't released yet I thought I'm on time to make this feature request. Ian Romarick has the intention to release Mesa 7.10 in early January next year (see http://bit.ly/gK17GM), which, if released on time, would give us about 2 months of testing prior to openSUSE 11.4 GM. Discussion: #1: Jose Ricardo De Leon Solis (derhundchen) (2010-12-05 18:51:54) Crap! Milestone 4 is out and that means we're in feature freeze. Nevertheless I was wondering if it's still possible to include MESA 7.10 in openSUSE 11.4. As I said before, it should be ready about 2 months before the Gold Master milestone. In fact it the stable version should be ready before milestone 6. #2: Thomas Schmidt (digitaltomm) (2010-12-20 15:06:34) Stefan, I think this request comes too late, right? If so please move to 'openSUSE distribution' so we can pick it in the next release. #3: Stefan Dirsch (sndirsch) (2010-12-20 17:05:31) Due to support for the new Intel platform Sandybridge we need Mesa 7.10 anyway. I'm currently working on an update to 7.10-pre in X11:Xorg project. + #4: Stefan Dirsch (sndirsch) (2010-12-20 19:36:02) + done for X11:Xorg and submitrequested for openSUSE:Factory. -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/310904
