Feature changed by: Andreas Jaeger (a_jaeger) Feature #310088, revision 3 Title: integrate webkit in evolution for html mail - openSUSE-11.4: Unconfirmed + openSUSE-11.4: Rejected by Andreas Jaeger (a_jaeger) + reject date: 2010-11-04 15:11:15 + reject reason: Will get via upstream. Priority Requester: Desirable Requested by: Thiago Sayao (sayao) Description: Most people i know uses Outlook for mail. When i receive HTML mail on evolution sent by outlook it does not always looks as when it was sent. Since webkit seems lightweight and renders HTML very well i think it would be suitable for adding this feature to evolution. I wish emails were text only, but it seems microsoft changed that and we have no choice :) Use Case: John sends a very nice formatted html mail to Maria on MS Outlook 2010. Maria opens the email and sees an ugly distorted mail. Discussion: #1: Ruchir Brahmbhatt (ruchir) (2010-07-11 07:57:43) Matthew Barnes has started working on it. Not sure when can we have this great feature. https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=540362 (https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=540362) + #2: Andreas Jaeger (a_jaeger) (2010-11-04 15:11:01) (reply to #1) + Let's track this upstream and once it's done upstream, we'll take the + new version. -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/310088
