Feature changed by: Wolfgang Rosenauer (wrosenauer) Feature #308523, revision 4 Title: Firefox address bar should respect ctrl+backspace openSUSE-11.3: Unconfirmed Priority Requester: Important Requested by: Alex Richardson (alerich) Description: To achieve consistency with the rest of the desktop (KDE or GNOME, don't know about XFCE), layout.word_select.stop_at_punctuation in about:config should be set to true by default. + Discussion: + #1: Wolfgang Rosenauer (wrosenauer) (2010-10-26 13:35:45) + I'm not sure where that is consistency. If I mark text with punctuation + within gnome-terminal by double click I get the whole phrase and not + only a part of it. The mentioned pref changes the whole user experience + with double click for marking some text. + We had the above setting at some point and someone raised a bug to + change it. Apparently we should change the default with every openSUSE + release? Just kidding. There are reasons to keep it as it is and there + are reasons to change it. It's more or less easy for people to change + it but I currently don't see enough arguments to change the default. -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/308523
