SimPy is a package for easy programming of simulations in python.

It uses an interesting concept of reentrant threads. It supports discrete event
simulations in a simple way. The concept allows to program and analyse the
timing and the dynamic systemic behavious of interacting agents. This kind of
dynamic simulation is rare in the agent-based community and the SimPy approach
appears to be promising. Currently there is no pre-built rpm package for
openSuse, so I add this to the wishlist and for openSuse 11.3.
