Feature changed by: Michael Löffler (michl19) Feature #306460, revision 9 Title: Open Feature Filing to Non-Members - openFATE: Unconfirmed + openFATE: Evaluation Priority Requester: Mandatory Requested by: Stephan Binner (beineri) Description: During Community Week a regular complaint was that non-members are currently not allowed to file new entries to openFATE but can only comment/vote. Discussion: #1: Vincent Petry (pvince81) (2009-05-30 12:35:31) Yes. There is currently no way for outsiders to file new features. Before it was possible to do it in Bugzilla, but now the enhancement requests get closed and have no place to be filed. It will be great if openFATE can accept feature submissions from outsiders. #2: Rajko Matovic (rajko_m) (2009-05-30 13:43:31) It will be great, also, that review is not that time consuming, more fishing like where some features can easily get unnoticed, leading to comments - They ignore me. #3: Dean Hilkewich (deanjo13) (2009-05-30 22:36:32) This absolutely is essential to get a feel for what a majority of openSUSE's want and not just a chosen few. #4: Rémy Marquis (spyhawk) (2009-06-01 13:57:40) As far as I know, this is planned in the future. However, the openFATE team need more community hands first, as the team want to avoid an overwhelming numbers of request. If you want to help to sort and complete feature requests, just join the team (see Documentation). We need you, guys ! You can also ask a member to add your request. + #5: Michael Löffler (michl19) (2009-06-02 15:36:44) + We covered this during last openSUSE Board Meeting and Board is + supporting this. So we should open up openFATE another step. -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/306460
