Hello,
I think since Tumbleweed snapshot 20190823 and the kernel-firware update (20190712 -> 20190815) my Intel Wireless AC-9260 connection is broken.
I can not install the package kernel-firmware-iwlwifi:
#### YaST2 conflicts list - generated 2019-08-26 17:07:28 ####
kernel-firmware-iwlwifi-20190815-1.1.noarch steht in Konflikt mit kernel < 5.3, das von kernel-default-5.2.8-1.1.x86_64 zur Verfügung gestellt wurde

Have I to wait for kernel 5.3?
Don't install kernel-firmware-iwlwifi and keep the kernel-firmware package, which should include the wifi firmware as well?
Correct, the traditional kernel-firmware.rpm contains all firmware files, and this can keep working on all kernels. The new split packages are only for the new kernel and new dracut, which aren't available on TW yet.
thanks,
