Leap 15.0, the update of krb5 from v 1.15.2-lp150.5.3.1 to v 1.15.2-
lp150.5.6.1, which I installed yesterday (February 6th, 2019), breaks the
remote desktop protocol.

Neither xfreerdp nor rdesktop »work«: They start, but no window, no error.

I went back to the older version and rdesktop is back to normal.

Is this a bug or did the new krb5 bring a feature that needs some
customization on the other side (the remote Windows-PC)?

I just tested this with a very recent version of freerdp (2.0.0-dev5
(2693389a1)) from Leap 15 to Windows10 (Insider Preview) and it works
for me. Also from Tumbleweed with krb5-1.16.1-1.6.x86_64.

Do you use any special connection options regarding krb?

Well, thank you -- could you test using the freerdp-version provided by the
leap-repo? 2.0.0~rc2-lp150.1.1

I'm using freerdp through a ssh-tunnel. First I build the tunnel and then
freerdp (option v) the ip and the port: /v:

Works like a charm on leap 15.0 with freerdpVersion :
# xfreerdp /u:john /v:

Also rdesktop (1.8.4-lp150.81.2) from OBS X11:Utilities works fine.

No breakage in sight ;)
