Should I switch back to xorg? I had all of that as well with a Lenovo X1 KabyLake and switched back to Xorg which seems to be much more stable but seems that it incorrectly gets the scaling for HiDPI wrong after suspend. So in applications everything is still good but Gnome shell's mouse pointer is huuuge (scale factor 2 I guess).
