I have attached a dumpfile of the first sectors of a non working USB stick in my bug report, is that not something you could use? You'll find it here: https://bugzilla.suse.com/attachment.cgi?id=730322 Using the following command creates a problematic stick (just as reported in the bug reported) for me: dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sdb bs=4M dd if=dumpfile of=/dev/sdb bs=1M The USB stick created like this cannot be mounted by KDE/Plasma, but can be mounted by "mount", is seen as a FAT32 by fdisk and as iso9660 by Gparted.
