Wrong. That's the exact opposite. grub2-once.service *unsets* the boot entry on boot, which was necessary in previous versions on btrfs because grub2 couldn't reset it itself, and that's still the case for LVM I think (but I'm not sure). It doesn't allow to *boot* a specific entry.
