Are you sure your using KDM? its no longer the default for KDE sddm is.
When using sddm, log out so that you see the log in screen. Look to the bottom left corner of the screen. You will see different DE options for your reboot.
All I see there is a wrench. Clicking on that only provides different desktop choices, not boot partitions.
Click on the "Shutdown" icon in the bottom *right* corner. You'll find a restart option there that will allow you to choose which grub2 entry to boot. That feature is exclusive to kdm though, sddm does *not* have that, and I don't think any other DM.
