Terzeus, seems you nailed it!

Devtools console says this:

Cannot play media. No decoders for requested formats: video/mp4;
codecs="avc1.4d401e", video/mp4; codecs="avc1.4d401e", video/mp4;
codecs="avc1.4d401e", video/mp4; codecs="avc1.64001f", audio/mp4;
codecs="mp4a.40.5", video/mp4; codecs="avc1.42E01E mp4a.40.2", video/mp4;
codecs="avc1.4D401E mp4a.40.2", video/mp4; codecs="avc1.4D401F mp4a.40.2",
video/mp4; codecs="avc1.640032 mp4a.40.2", video/mp4; codecs="avc1.640033
mp4a.40.2"

Yes, that sounds about right.

Now the question is... where do I get the decoders?

That's the part where I started installing random codec-related packages :D Can
you try installing gstreamer-plugins-{good,bad,ugly,libav} from Packman?

sudo zypper in -r Packman -f gstreamer-plugins-{good,bad,ugly,libav}

Interesting how now on Chrome the facebook video work, but many videos from
newspapers still dont. The console says: SecurityError: The operation is
insecure.

That bit, I don't know, sorry.
