How did you disable core dumps? What I've found with a quick search: edit /etc/security/limits.conf set ulimit fs.suid_dumpable = 0 in /etc/sysctl.conf Storage=none in /etc/systemd/coredump.conf Ciao, Michael.

On one laptop (of half a dozen) I've configured with Tumbleweed the system is hanging during shutdown, some process is massively accessing the hard-disk.
Any hint where to search for this issue?
Ciao, Michael.
