I want to say, because the the default system in Grub menu was Leap 42.1, and the installation of the new grub of Leap 42.2 failed, after rebooting the system started with Leap 42.1. I rebooted again and because Leap 42.2 beta 3 don't appear on the grub menu, I reinstalled Grub with the Yast of Leap 42.1, and then appear on the Grub menu Leap 42.2 beta 3.
That's correct behavior. 42.1 is unaware of anything you installed later until you reconfigure bootloader in it. That you accidentally can boot system that failed bootloader installation itself is a bonus :) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
