What is the recommended way of upgrading a system from a previous beta of 42.2 to this beta?
zypper dup
I add a safety net. Switch to text console (ctrl-alt-f1) login as root tmux new Switch back to graphics mode (ctrl-alt-f7) su - tmux attach zypper dup --no-allow-vendor-change Thus if the graphical session crashes, the zypper run will continue running. The "--no-allow-vendor-change" switch respects packages downloaded from other repositories. Packman is not yet active, but it would be the thing to do. Optional, of course. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 13.1 x86_64 "Bottle" at Telcontar)
