Hi, I'm looking to package MuseScore 2 so that it can be accepted into Factory. I've based my work on what has been done in multimedia:musescore2 -- the work I've done so far is available in home:qantas94heavy/musescore. Here is what I have modified based on the original package: - Update new version from 2.0.2 to 2.0.3 - Replace the statically compiled version of FreeType with the system version - Disabled LAME as it isn't allowed in main repository - Remove "autoupdate" UI that prompts user to download package directly from website - Clean up specfile so that only directives for openSUSE are included. However, I still have a few questions. I noticed that the original package has a "musescore-fonts" subpackage which contains some fonts that are included with the program. However, it seems that these are statically included in the binary using the Qt Resource System. There are also some music-specific "fonts" which are not in "musescore-fonts". Should the subpackage be removed or not? If not, what should it contain? Also, there are a number of libraries in MuseScore that are based on shared libraries included in openSUSE but have been somewhat modified. What should be done about these libraries?
