Hi all,
Have you ever spent time wading through build logs searching for a error and wishing the process was slightly easier, well now it can be. Thanks to grc (Generic Colouriser)[1][2] there now is a way. I have written a config file for grc + osc [3], this may provide more colors then some people want (fortunately removing entries from the config file is easy) It also uses all of the 8 common terminal colors so it probably wont look the best on the default xterm with a white background.
With this I also intend to push the grc package into factory, it is also capable of colorising a bunch of other applications including ping, df, gcc and netcat. usage is as simple as "grc osc build".
