I've just had a really strange display of data as vivaldi booted up (i know its beta software but its a strange example). i only use vivaldi on this user login for tech sites but this time i actually had data displayed from a site i visit on a different user login and using a different browser. I use different user logins for different activities.
I do get junk data displayed on all my user logins, things like the Software Updater show rubbish before displaying the correct window data. It also happens a lot between login (kdm) and the desktop and when i logout. I'm not sure what to log a bug against.
I'm pretty sure I've seen this in past. Are you by any chance using nvidia video adapter?
I have a similar problem and it could be the same underlying bug. For me there is much increased flickering visible, but not so much displayed junk. I have a GeForce G650M (with proprietary drives), but because of nvidia optimus I normally use the intel integrated (HD 4000) graphics, so I'm not sure if this can be a nv bug. Interestingly the problem is fixed (for one session) if I go to systemsettings-> Display and Monitor->Compositor, change something, change it back and then click apply (e.g. uncheck and recheck "Enable compositor on startup"). There is no need to actually change something, the important part is to enable the apply button and click it. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
