will Tumbleweed ever find its place in the sun with its own name in GRUB MENU or will it be forever a number instead of a name (eg, 20151030)?
The Grub menu on an openSUSE Tumbleweed machine does not show the number
And as an adjunct to this question: will discussions/questions re Tumbleweed forever be consigned to the FACTORY mail list?
User Support questions regarding both Tumbleweed and Leap should be directed to the opensuse@ list and/or the forums Questions regarding the development of both Tumbleweed and Leap should be directed to this opensuse-factory list. As Tumbleweed users and feedback often overlaps with possible direction of development of Tumbleweed, I think it's acceptable if the division I paint above is seen as somewhat flexible and open to interpretation To provide concrete examples, I feel questions like "how do I partition on Tumbleweed?" shouldn't be in opensuse-factory@, but questions like "can we change partitioning in Tumbleweed to do $foo?" most certainly are. While the name opensuse-factory@ is not perfect, it's no more incorrect than opensuse@ when there is no longer a distribution being made called 'openSUSE'. If we were going to rename this list to anything, I would recommend we rename it to opensuse-development@ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
