And are these instructions available to someone who has just installed Tumbleweed for the very first time and who has never used a Linux distro?
Someone who has never used a Linux distro should most probably not be using Tumbleweed.
Aww, don't spoil the argument! :-D .
When you go to the openSUSE site to download the latest and bestest openSUSE creations you are given the choice of downloading Leap (of Faith) or Tumbleweed-
There both are in full 'technicolour' glory: Download, install and enjoy with the URL announcing:
"The makers' choice for sysadmins, developers and desktop users."
Nothing against this at all on my part except that if one goes around claiming greatness for one system then one must give the other the same greatness and functionality.

Basil, do you actually have a question related to the development of either openSUSE Tumbleweed or Leap, or are you just using this thread as a chance to generate an exceptional amount of noise? You got the answer about the YaST repository list from Bruno 2 days ago. He explained how, why, and when, you can stop now. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
