As many of you know, since a recent update of gdm, installing Tumbleweed in a VirtualBox VM results in a system that will not start. The same problem happened with Leap 42.1-RC1, and the workaround is the same as described in the "Most Annoying Bugs" page.
Oracle has just released VirtualBox version 5.0.10, which is supposed to have a partial fix for this problem and I am trying to test the new code. My problem is that an osc build uses the 4.2.4 kernel while the TW 1106 snapshot comes with kernel 4.3.0, thus my newly created packages will not install.
How do I force osc to use the newer kernel?
try osc build --alternative-project openSUSE:Factory standard x86_64
/snapshot is not yet updated as OBS has been quite busy.
Dominique, Thanks. That is doing exactly as I wanted. Larry -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
