Hello all I did a "zypper dup" on the girl friends i586 machine this morning before going to work and to my surprise things didn't work out right. One of the error messages follows: [ 4.033715 systemd-fstab-generator[56]: Failed to create mount unit file /run/systemd/generator/sysroot.mount, as it already exists. Duplicate entry in /etc/fstab? I decided to do a fresh install as per usual to calm matters at home this evening so I downloaded and installed openSUSE-Tumbleweed-DVD-i586-Snapshot20151106-Media.iso media I also got the above message when installing regardless of whether the media was burnt to a usb key or a DVD. Remark 1 : The sha256sum checked OK Remark 2 : I chrooted the unsuccessfully installed i586 system and checked /etc/fstab file and found no duplicate entries. I also downloaded and installed Tumbleweed using the openSUSE-Tumbleweed-NET-i586-Snapshot20151106-Media.iso media. The installation went fine but I had the same error message when I rebooted. Things could be worst. VMware Workstation is up and running on my main machine using new the 4.3.0-1-default kernel on Tumbleweed 64-bit architecture :) Home:/ # uname -a Linux Home 4.3.0-1-default #1 SMP PREEMPT Mon Nov 2 15:35:09 UTC 2015 (7b374a4) x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux Any and all comments however on how I can get the girlfriend i586 system up and running again would be greatly appreciated! Many thanks in advance Regards James -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
