Is leap going to get its own set of rings and autoqa?
If so, will that be used only for getting the release out, or also for security updates?
Thanks Greg
Leap's staging Projects are already in openQA - https://openqa.opensuse.org/ Partially because of Leap, SUSE are investigating using openQA for SLE Maintenance Updates in addition to their existing professional QA Maintenance. Ludwig recently added some support for this in the openQA codebase - https://github.com/os-autoinst/os-autoinst-distri-opensuse/pull/523 It's reasonable to assume that at some point we'll have openQA testing for Leap maintenance updates also, whether all of that will be in place and running before Leap's release, is a very good question. The "worst case" is still pretty good - any maintenance updates for Leap derived from SLE sources will benefit from SUSE's professional QA they already carry out, and I expect any maintenance updates from non-SLE packages will be built, tested, and released the same way they already are for openSUSE regular releases Regards, -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
