Hi all, Same issue (Sony Vaio) but using kernel 3.19.3 does not work: problem seems to be related to update of xf86-input-libinput. Got similar problem with Fujitsu notebook, not with taps 'cos I don't use them but with scrolling. I assumed the configuration settings had got lost again, which happens every few weeks for some obscure reason, but it would not configure because it said the touchpad wasn't found. When I clicked on the link in the error message where I was supposed to report the problem, that github page wasn't found either.
