1: suggested that you logout from KDE and login at a command line (CTRL-ALT-F2 or similar) 2: mv .gnupg .gnupg.old 3: gpg --list-keys
There is no need to log out.
That creates an empty gpg keyring.
4: login to KDE again, because it is easier to work in a GUI. 5: Import your old keyring 6: Import your old secret keyring (you will be prompted for pass phrase).
Hopefully, after that, Kmail will start working for you. You may have to setup trust for your keys once again.
I used kgpg. Menu item: Keys -> Import key -> from File -> choose old pubring.gpg and secring.gpg Adjust trust and possibly default key. -- fr.gr. Freek de Kruijf -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
