Today I tried the same procedure to upgrade to this snapshot. YaST tells me that the product is incompatible with the installed product. It offers a do-it-anyway button, which I will use to get it done. Please make a bug report - I wonder why openQA doesn't see that.
Bug 900391 - upgrading factory snapshots shows incompatible product warning
A few issues: Multiple repos per file are not handled by yast. My workaround is to split them into one file per repo: http://lists.opensuse.org/zypp-devel/2014-10/msg00002.html Did it ever?
No idea. Bug 900232 - yast does not handle multi-repo factory.repo files
The theme changed in this snapshot, its now all gray. I tried to uninstall the apparmor pattern and related pkgs, but libvirt-daemon requires apparmor-parser for some reason. Too bad, the text printed in a conflict resolution window is white on light gray. Please make a bug report and assign to wimer. I don't think anyone else can fix that :)
Bug 900388 - yast2 package conflict dialog has white text in gray background
Once I return to the main window I get 'Cannot select these patterns required for the installation: gnome'. Does that pattern still exist? No idea what this is about.
I did not see that when attempting to upgrade 20141001 to 20141002. Olaf -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
