Hello List mates,
I thought I would try out seamonkey. However, it keeps crashing when selecting addons. When starting in konsole I'm getting the following error:
$ seamonkey
(process:6170): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_slice_set_config: assertion 'sys_page_size == 0' failed /usr/bin/seamonkey: line 139: 6170 Segmentation fault $MOZ_PROGRAM "$@"
I'm using SeaMonkey 2.26 from Community Repo's. Starting from If I start from the Browser from Task manager it works fine when I select Tools-->
Add-on Manager--> Get Add-ons. It works fine. Are you running 32 or 64> bit version?
If I start from the command line I get:
Code ----------- linux-x5b8:~> seamonkey
(process:7504): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_slice_set_config: assertion 'sys_page_size == 0' failed NOTE: child process received `Goodbye', closing down ---------- SeaMonkey browser still starts and the above steps to go to Get Add-ons works.
My configuration below.
Russ
I'm running seamonkey 2.26 64-bit. However, I selected the seamonkey package that was included with the official release.
Should I use seamonkey from the openSUSE Mozilla repo?
ITM I'll try your method.
