Last I heard, btrfs had no provision for reserved space. This means, once a btrfs partition becomes full, it may become rather difficult to fix[0]: deleting can't succeed if there really isn't any space left.
There's some space left for deletion purposes while the filesystem does not accept any new data. Bugs that prevented deletion on a full filesytem have been fixed.
That really needs fixing.
