That is the difficulty atm. NO docu for filters.
Yes, I'll add it to the manpage.
It simply uses fnmatch (glibc function) and all files that do
match a line in any filter file are ignored.
One sidenote: The filters don't affect what files are included in
the snapshots on the filesystem level. The filters only make
snapper ignore those files, e.g. when listing files with the
status command.
If you don't want certain directories to be snapshotted (e.g. to
save disk space) you have to create btrfs subvolumes.
