-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 At http://doc.opensuse.org/documentation/htmlsingle/openSUSE/opensuse-reference... it documents a method to start the 12.3 installation from inside Windows. Apparently it runs an install.exe, that modifies the Windows start sequence so that next boot happens from the DVD. Has this method been verified? In particular regarding Windows 8 and UEFI. IMHO, this method should be removed from the installation media and documentation. (I post this intentionally in the factory mail list in order to reach the developers that created the DVD and the documentation) You can see a recent sample of an installation using this method here: http://forums.opensuse.org/showthread.php?t=484820 - -- Cheers, Carlos E.
