The file readme.txt in that directory will tell you what to do. As you did not say what specific driver you wanted to use, I'm not sure what file to recommend; however, if it is a 3xx.yy version, then the one for 304.60 should work.
Note, these patches will not let the nvidia drivers build under kernel 3.8 (yet).

aparrently the 304.60 patch does not work :^(
Note, 304.60 patch: works for: 304.64 and 310.14 does not for: 310.19 and 313.09
I have to look at 310.19 to see why it does not compile under 3.8, and I will find out why it fails on 3.7. The patch will be posted on the site noted earlier, and I will announce its availability here. With the holidays, it will take a couple of days.
