All, tcpflow was recently added to factory and httrack is currently under review. tcpflow is similar to tcpdump, but it segregates the packets into sockets/flows, one date file per flow. https://sourceforge.net/projects/tcpflow/ httrack is an webpage copier. It has a lot of features/functionality. It can be used for preserving a specific instance of a website, or for offline reading such as on a plane. http://www.httrack.com/html/fcguide.html I put both in the devel repo "security". I did this because tcpflow is used by intrusion response guys to monitor ongoing intrusion activity and httrack is often used by forensic experts to preserve a website for evidentiary reasons. Thus, at least that set of users would likely have the security repo setup already. fyi: I also just got logsurfer and tripwire in the security repo to compile for 12.2. They are both more for proactive security monitoring than the packages I normally maintain. They both appear to be very stable per their changelogs (only a handful of changelog entries in 10+ years each). If someone could volunteer to submit them to factory and maintain them, it should be a fairly simple task to do. https://build.opensuse.org/package/show?package=tripwire&project=security https://build.opensuse.org/package/show?package=logsurfer&project=security tripwire in particular is a well-known package that I'm surprised in not already part of factory.
