At least, that's what current Factory (with samba 3.6.7, package samba-client) still has.
That's what I would expect, but installing samba-3.6.6-48.6.1 didn't create one. I didn't install from Factory. I installed HTTP from distribution/12.2. Now I see neither samba nor cifs-utils depends on samba-client or vice versa, and samba-client was not installed. Now it's there. -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive." Proverbs 16:21 (New Living Translation) Team OS/2 ** Reg. Linux User #211409 ** a11y rocks!
