Hi,
If there is a specific reason to include a newer version of a package it can also be delivered by maitnenance update.
The 0.8.x series has major improvements for Active Directory LDAP integration. e.g. now, it looks in the DN for group membership. With Samba4 just around the corner, I think that this may become very useful. Ubuntu already have it. It's not such a big pain to build it myself it would be a step forward I think if we had an official openSUSE rpm for it in 12.2 The stable version is 0.8.10. Tested against 12.2 RC2 with a Samba4 AD. Cheers, Steve -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
