The package python-kdebase4 seems to have been removed entirely from Tumbleweed, but it is still in KDE:48?
Yes, it should not have been removed from TW, it just failed to build for a bit.
Greg, did you reinstate it?
No, I thought I was supposed to remove it.
So, what exactly am I supposed to do here? Add it back?
Please do. It was only being removed at zypper dup time due to the old version still being in the download repos and zypper making a solution. It builds again now.
Ok, now added back.
I noticed the KDE:48 repo has changed a bunch again, is it now stable enough to add to Tumbleweed?
The KDE:Release:48 users seem to be happy again, is my best answer at the moment.
Ok, thanks.
What happened to a bunch of packages that seem to have been removed, should I also remove them from Tumbleweed?
Which ones? (Do you have a script to track the source projects of packages in TW, so I can identify the ones KR48 no longer has? The OBS status page for TW does not allow filtering by devel project, as the Factory one does.
The list of KDE packages I've linked into Tumbleweed can be found in the tumbleweed "scripts" package, that can be browsed here: https://github.com/gregkh/tumbleweed specifically this is the file: https://github.com/gregkh/tumbleweed/blob/master/kde-4.8 When I run an update on that file, I get a number of packages that are no longer in the KDE:48 repo, that used to be there. koffice2 is one such example, I can provide the list of others if you like. What happened to koffice2? Why would packages be dropped from the KDE:Release:48 repo? thanks, greg k-h -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
