Use a maintained DE and you can get the possibility to have that. The second part of your statement is… But you for sure forgot the "for me" to put at
So you just don't give a shit about those who uses any DE other than Gnome or KDE such as Awesome, xmonad, IceWM and so on.
zypper in udisks-glue
udisks-glue needs an extensive script-like config file that is not shipped with it. Just installing udisks-glue will not help anybody. And that file is written in a special language so it is not possible for an average user to use it. Also this config file needs to be adjusted for each new version of udisks, the examples I found in the internet are calling the udisks command line utility which is not compatible with udisks-2. So the script should be rewritten by a user. You youself do not recommend to call udisks console utilities, yet it is necessary if you use udisks-glue. There is no example of udisks-glue config file that does not use udisks command line tools.
Can we please stop this thread now? It's not productive for anyone.
Please provide an example of implementing automounting by a user without calling the udisks command-line tools (which you do not recommand yourself) and without a need to write down extensive scripts. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
