What IS going on? I have set cron in /etc/sysconfig to delete what is in the /tmp directory at each boot. Earlier I looked and /tmp is full of 'rubbish'. I checked the setting in cron and it was OK. So I had to manually go thru the process of clearing out /tmp.
So what gives? This did not happen in the past.
I am using Milestone #2 of 12.2, BTW.
Anyone offer a suggestion about the above please? https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=721682
Many thanks for the above. But I am using Milestone #2 and the last comment in that bug report was on 26 February. So when is it expected to have this issue resolved and in place in oS? I have no idea about using scripts and fiddles mentioned in the above so I will just keep cleaning /tmp manually when I see it becoming filled with 'rubbish'.
