Hi,
I just was informed by upstream that they are testing some
optimizations to see if they can cut the package in around 25MB's.

Hi all,
I would like to request if it is possible to add Unknown Horizons to openSUSE:Factory, having in mind the following:
- Required dependencies: + fife - provides the game engine (http://fifengine.de); + python-enet - provides the python bindings for ENet, this allows us to remove the bundled "enet.so" provided with UH, so we use our own stuff built with openSUSE; + guichan (0.8) - support library used to build the UI (doesn't need allegro for UH, so if allegro isn't on Factory we don't really to add allegro, unless...) - Development Project: games:unknown-horizons (which should provide all the dependencies for UH) - There is no need for this application to be a part of the release DVD (users can install it through zypper), but if someone thinks it would nice to add it to the DVD, I have no objections (I would actually cheer for it).
Description: Unknown Horizons is a 2D realtime strategy simulation with an emphasis on economy and city building. Expand your small settlement to a strong and wealthy colony, collect taxes and supply your inhabitants with valuable goods. Increase your power with a well balanced economy and with strategic trade and diplomacy.
Unknown Horizons and dependencies are around 100Mb (including artwork, etc).
All the best, NM
