Someone mentioned Skype and up to a few months ago Google Chrome also
required it, I'm not sure if it still does. Also we should consider
that many users use software provided by other vendors which might
depend on it... I think it's maybe too hasty to remove it...

Hi,
I would like to ask again, if I can finally remove libpng12 from factory (to not exist in 12.2) in time we might want to slowly go towards libpng15.
Thanks for your opinions, Petr
be aware Iscan apparently still uses it. (at least latest vendor supplied version)

Doesn't the VirtualBox rpm downloaded from virtualbox.org require it? Not that I'm aware of. I have VirtualBox 4.1.4r74291 and it work fine. No error I am aware of. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
