Recent version of Yast2-gtk looks completely alien among other GTK applications. In 12.1 only Gnome-shell uses GTK3 while other desktops (Xfce, Lxde) use GTK2. LibreOffice also provides only GTK2 integration. This makes Yast2 to appear absolutely alien on a 12.1 desktop.
Ilya, YaST GTK frontened has been started as an open-source and free/community project by Michael Meeks and it's currently maintained by Ricardo Cruz. YaST team will gladly use your or anyone else's port to GTK3.

Bye Lukas
I already did the port to Gtk3 and Ricardo did all the remaining work (fixing crashes and bugs due to my Gtk inexperience). Michael Meeks even demoed YaST using the HTML5 backend: http://people.gnome.org/~michael/blog/2011-07-27.html Not sure if this branch was merged and submitted to Factory. -- Duncan Mac-Vicar P. - http://www.suse.com/ SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Jeff Hawn, Jennifer Guild, Felix Imendörffer, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) Maxfeldstraße 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
