I installed with btrfs (BeTeR File System?) on an externel hard drive automatically created a separate boot partition. so far my one complaint is I get a "do you want me to fall back to something that is really long Yes or No a Yes completes the boot. I thought that NOT using a /boot partition with BTRFS was resolved with the implementation of systemd? You are confusing a lot of things, it seems..
