If I were to install M6 on another partition. What are the exact commands to install it using:
mount -o loop openSUSE-DVD-Build1034-x86_64.iso ?
You have to distribute it as a file service (http, ftp, nfs) via network.
So it will not work using the same machine - you need a second.
Maybe some day the install routines can get enhanced to use a local ISO image - the updater routines already can.
In the mean time, downloading a whole pre-GM DVD ISO is silly if you have only one system to install it on. Instead, download only the installation kernel and initrd from one of the mirrors, then use Grub to start a HTTP installation from your favorite mirror. Then you'll be downloading only what you actually need.
