-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi folks, openSUSE-Factory has seen a many updates in recent days, certainly because Milestone 6 of 6 is coming this week. Testing on http://openqa.opensuse.org/ remains interesting. The rate is currently constant at 36 testruns per day, but might increase next week due to new hardware generously sponsored by B1-Systems. There is still https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=660464 randomly affecting many 32bit testruns on KVM (and probably still VirtualBox). However, the very same 2.6.37-kernel works on my two Laptops (except for a panic on suspend-to-RAM). VMs are an important platform for testers/users, so this should not be taken lightly. The other new issue first observed 2011-01-14 12:50 with repo-Build0898 is that /etc/mtab contains only one or two lines, causing df in the "textinfo" test to produce less output. Since this did not have more obvious consequences and was not auto-checked, it slipped through into the factory-tested repo. I have now added a mtab test to make this failure more obvious. The test's log-files now include a list of installed rpms, so it will be easier to trace down which package/update caused an issue. also new: - - XFCE installs are now launching GNOME instead of icewm by default even though DEFAULT_WM is properly set to startxfce4 - - two small kontact issues filed upstream - - upgrade from 11.1 needs some manual work with kernel-default* recently fixed: - - Xorg/gdm with gnomedevel started working today - - firefox4 no more segfaulting on LXDE/XFCE - - most of the other things on the previous list other improvements: - - the results web-interface now got a "ignore boring results" checkbox to hide results that likely only showed known issues. - - there is now a openqabot posting new test results on #opensuse-testing - - on 2011-01-06 (a public holiday in Nuremberg) I had taken some hours to adapt the OS-autoinst framework to testrun Debian and Fedora systems (of course, the results are nowhere as nice as with openSUSE ;-) http://www3.zq1.de/fedora/Fedora-14-i386-netinst.iso.ogv http://www3.zq1.de/debian/cdimage.debian.org/debian-testing-amd64-netinst.is...
