I have successfully written and /etc/udev/rules.d before but it seems my old brain has forgotten something. Do you see a problem with this rule - the printer is being found by yast2 printers
Your rule is number 52, but there is a number 55-libsane.rules in the package sane-backends which sets the mode to 664. Since this runs after your rule, it will take precedence I guess. So if you have this package installed, and the problem is that the mode gets set to 664, then I guess you need to edit this second script (or maybe number your script higher would work) Anders -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
