How or is it possible to change an RPM so that it would not install it in
/opt or /usr/local. I know "--prefix=" and "--exec-config" sets a source
configure file
I would hope something like "rpm -i --prefix=/usr"
http://en.opensuse.org/Packaging/Guidelines#Relocatable_packages
http://www.rpm.org/max-rpm/ch-rpm-reloc.html
From the first site "The use of RPM's facility for generating relocatable packages is strongly discouraged". I think says it all. I was just hoping that there was a way.

Another problem I see is the source-RPM scripts being written for the original directory. Then if moved the file not found error.
