Hey Group;
I opened two previously saved spreadsheet documens. To save them I hit the loppy disk icon next to he folder icon. The save blue bar cast at the bottom makes it about 75% then hangs. This is with he Open Office from openSuSE recently downloaded/upgraded. Furthermore. did it save both sheets or not. I do note neither will close via "X" or File>Close
Still hanging 4 hours later. All permissions are donn.users
Remember the bad saved file you had after hours of work. Either KDE and its software or OpenOffice need to have the right to write a file. Sure is a pain knowing the only way out is going to loose all the work I have done.
After a KDE4 reboot now which oofromtemplate equals /usr/bin/oofromtemplate which equals /usr/lib/ooo3/program/soffice Which fails to come up at all now. Yast2 shows ooo3 is there but it seem about 80% of the files normally coming from a Sun version are not there. -- 73 de Donn Washburn 307 Savoy Street Email:" n5xwb@comcast.net " Sugar Land, TX 77478 LL# 1.281.242.3256 Ham Callsign N5XWB HAMs : " n5xwb@arrl.net " VoIP via Gizmo: bmw_87kbike / via Skype: n5xwbg BMW MOA #: 4146 - Ambassador " http://counter.li.org " #279316 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
