Hi all , i'm trying to prevent the automatic loading of ati_remote module during boot by udevd according to http://en.opensuse.org/Kernel_module_configuration i should create a /etc/modprobe.conf.local file with following content: blacklist ati_remote but module is still loaded after reboot :-( adding this to /etc/modprobe.d/00-system.conf will create a kernel panic during reboot :-( message i get is : starting udevd: Kernel panic - not syncing: stack-protector : Kernel stack is corrupted in: f8773a6b and numlock led is blinking removing this line , will enable booting again but will disable my X10 remote controle device luc -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
