I would like to help; if there is some pointer to what must be done, I would like to know very much. Thanks.
Hi everybody!
It's been a few days and there I am again. Back with some good news and a request for YOUR help. I created new packages containing Adobe Reader 9.1.3 (latest as of at this moment) and also packaged up the language packages (9.1, latest release).
I tested the Adobe Reader myself and it appears to be working. But of course I can only test a limited subset (and not the language packs for example).
So you all are invited to test the packages and give some feedback. If everything goes well i'm planning on creating submit requests to have those packages accepted in the NonFree repository.
The repository with the latest version can be found (temporary) at: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/dimstar:/branches:/home:/he n nevogel:/TODO/standard/
Temporary just because once they are accepted for inclusion this repo will disappear again. Thanks for all your help!
Dominique
I installed it on M6. Works great, only has a little issue in that it shows up in main-menu only after log out and log in. Loads way faster than the version 8.x for me.
Also to add: I installed it on a 64 bit machine, it was automatically configured for use with firefox (using nspluginwrapper) and works fine in the browser too.
