Check /usr/lib/browser-plugin and confirm libflashplayer .so is there. If yes then go to /usr/lib/firefox/plugins and link /usr/lib/browser-plugind/libflashplayer.so
ln -s /usr/lib/browser-plugind/libflashplayer.so /usr/lib//firefox/plugins/libflashplayer .so
If it is not there then it needs to be in /usr/lib/browser-plugins/
I don't have libflashplayer.so in /usr/lib/browser-plugin and I can't find it on the DVD.
Is the flashplayer part of the things that openSuSE doesn't deliver like a working xine-lib? Or is this a bug of MS6?
You need the non-free repository, most distributions with a sponsoring company / financial backing don't deliver them due to patent and licence problems with their regular disks. flash is different to xine though, opensuse is allowed to redistribute flash, it is considered non-free though as you don't have the regular freedoms you can expect with free software, xine is free software but can't be redistributed due to patent issues.
