Listmates, I don't use crossover office that often, but since it was still on my system, I thought I would test it on kde4 beta 2. It doesn't run. The problem appears to be some mix-up in the way the old .desktop files from kde3 work (or don't) with kde4. Specifically, the .desktop file for word has the Exec line as: Exec=/home/david/.cxoffice/winxp/desktopdata/cxassoc/Scripts/cxoffice-d8d97273-7f23-4dba-919d-512cbfc6a2c8:application_msword But it doesn't work. Is there something I can do to update the kde3 cxoffice .desktop files and menu entries to work with kde4 short of recreating all of them?
